北米ツアー終了直前８月２８日のヒューストン公演終了後、ベースのトニー・レヴィンは体調を崩しツアーを離れた。ABWHはその後の４公演をキャンセルし、ビル・ブラッフォードと仕事をしたことがあるジェフ・バーリンにサポートを要請。彼はわずかなリハーサル期間の後、本ＣＤに収録された９月４日のコンサートに臨んだ。彼が参加したツアーはこの日をはじめとするカリフォルニアでの７公演のみ。そのうち９月９日のマウンテンビュー公演はオフィシャルライブが収録され発売されている。[disc2](7)はその時の音源だ。ただしリミックス前のモニターミックスが収録されている。[disc2](7)を除く９月４日の音源はオーディエンス録音だが音質、バランスともに良好。若干ボーカルが前面に出過ぎの感があるが聴きづらいほどではない。イエスよりイエスらしいと言われたABWHのライブを堪能できる。特にビル・ブラッフォードが叩く[disc1](11)は涙ものだ。しかしここにスクワイアがいたら・・・と思ってしまうのは私だけではないはずだ。
