A wound gut string has a wick with silk lines along it
Very fine, almost invisible,
silver-plated copper wire is wound very evenly on it
I wondered if it is really possible to make a string like this ??

I could use one of my sheep-gut strings for the wick, no problem
Then what ?
The technology of electric wire is out-standing in Japan !
Or how about silk lines ?...Or nylon ?
After all, most modern strings are nylon
Boldly ! I made up my mind to use unwaxed dental-floss !
I flatter myself that is a pretty smart idea... !
